The Alalay Sa Kabuhayan Plan or AKaP is the insurance on the life of a debtor in connection with a specific loan to provide payment equivalent to the insured loan amount.
The Alalay sa Pamilya Plan or ASaP is the basic benefit insurance of the members of ASKI MBA.
About Us
True to its vision of a transformed and progressive community, Alalay Sa Kaunlaran Inc. (ASKI) joined other microfinance institutions (MFIs) in organizing the RIMANSI MI - MBA Association of the Philippines, Inc., an institution that would help MFIs in setting-up their own mutual benefit associations. Thus, through the help of RIMANSI MI -MBA and CARD Mutual Benefit Association, the first MBA emanating from an MFI, Alalay sa Kaunlaran Inc. Mutual Benefit Association (ASKI MBA) was born.

Alalay sa Kaunlaran (ASKI) Mutual Benefit Association, Inc. was registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) as a nonstock, not-for-profit association on June 21, 2006. It was granted a license by the Insurance Commission (IC) on October 5, 2006 to engage as a mutual benefit association that extends benefits and services for the welfare and financial security of its members and their families in the form of death benefits and ensuring continued access to benefits and resources. The Association actively involves the members in the direct management of the Association including the implementation of policies and procedures geared towards sustainability and improved services.

Mr. Ronaldo Joson of Brgy. Sta Ines, San Miguel, Bulacan is one of the active clients of ASKI for almost four years. For the fast record as an Askian, he has a good record and good manner in the community where he belongs. He is a good father of his two daughters and also a good husband of his wife, Dearly Joson. But one unexpected day, he got a cardiac arrest late in the evening of August 6, 2016 which eventually led to his death. Mrs. Joson was shocked because she didn't expect that her husband would pass away very soon.
